There's Snow Place Like Home...: 12 months {2 weeks late!}

Yes, my baby girl is really 12 1/2 months now & I'm just getting around to putting up this post.

And this picture is really from about a month ago.

I'm falling down on the job.

We went to the doctor on Monday for Emma's {late} well check. We are so thankful & blessed with a perfect & HEALTHY girl!

She is 19 lbs 8 oz. {25th %}

30 inches {75th %}

Tall & Skinny? Don't know where that is coming from, and that's definitely not how I see her! Ha! Even though she has slimmed down since she started crawling, she still has plenty of chunks to squeeze & kiss!

Oh, Emma girl! You are so fun these days. Each day brings something new, and I LOVE this stage! Our days are so fun & filled with new discoveries, sounds & moves.

*You sleep from about 8:30 to between 6:30 & 7:30.

*You take two naps a day. Around 9:00 & 1:00 & usually sleep for around 2 hours.

*You are officially completely weaned. Although, there is still room for improvement. You don't like to drink much more that one our two big sips of milk at a time. So I feel like it's constantly by our side in order for you to get enough each day.

*You wear some 12 month clothes & some 18 month.

*Right now, your vocabulary consists of these words:

Mom {mama}

Dad {dada, but more often than not...mama! Yes, you call daddy "mama" much of the time..it thrills him, as you can well imagine! ;)}

hot {always in a whisper}

light {ite-also always a whisper & sounds very similar to hot}

bye-bye {most of the time this is accompanied by you waving with both hands!}

When you see food you want, or something taste really yummy, you have just started saying "mu-mu-mu"

*You sing A LOT! In church, when we are rocking you, or randomly through the day. It is so precious. Sometimes you even wave you little hand around, much like a church song leader would do!

You love music, and especially love to help your daddy play his guitar.

*You also still love to dance. Sometimes you will stop playing for a moment, just to do a little dance. Makes us wonder what sweet songs you have going on in your head!!

*You love for us to crawl & chase you around the house. Many times a day you will start crawling away, stop, turn & look at us & wait for us to come chase after you. You can crawl really fast & normally have a huge smile on your face.

*You still love to be read to & I will often times find you sitting looking at a book by yourself, pointing to all the pictures.

*You also LOVE stuffed animals & baby dolls. You squeal with delight when you see them & give them hug & kiss, after hug & kiss. PRECIOUS!

*You love watching animals, fish & other kids. Any toy or picture that has any kind of face on it, you love...it makes you so excited & usually give them lots of slobbery kisses!

*You will stop from playing to come over to give me a hug or kiss many times a day. And when your daddy gets home from work you are full of big hugs for him. Most of the time when you are giving us big hugs, you also pat us on the back or arm...and it melts my heart each time! You have also learned how to give Eskimo & butterfly kisses.

*You are a super crawler, and are pulling up more & more each day. You are also started to take more steps holding on to our hands, although after a few it starts making you mad & it's back to crawling!

Oh, my list could go on & on & on! You are doing so many fun things! You are such a happy, content & laid-back baby. Your easy-going nature is so precious, and noticed by many!

We love you more than you can ever imagine & can't wait to keep watching you grow & learn new things!
