Christmas Eve

Christmas Eve is one of my favorite days of the year!
It was so fun to just spend time together & enjoy the sweet moments of the season.

We made Gingerbread Playdoh. It smelled fabulous & entertained Emma for a very long time!

We let them open one present from under the tree that morning.
It kept them occupied most of the day!

Emma opened her Doc Mobile {and was beyond excited!}

Hudson opened a tee ball stand & bat...which he liked, until he saw Emma's toy had wheels. Oops...bad pick on our part! So he got to open another one in order to avoid a day filled with conflict! ;)

Christmas Eve Boxes

Going on their hunt.

It of course led to their new Christmas PJs & new bibles/bible study book for both.

 Ready for bed!
 Cookies & Carrots! :)
We always read Twas the Night Before Christmas,
and the Christmas Story from the bible.

And time for bed...we hope Santa comes! ;)

Knight Family Christmas

On Christmas afternoon we made the drive to Abilene to celebrate with my family.
We started of the festivities with the first annual talent show. It was So. Much. Fun!
I think our cheeks were all hurting from smiling & laughing & it was so fun to see the kids get into it!
That is something we grew up doing, so it brought back so many fun childhood memories & I'm so glad it's something this sweet set of cousins will get to experience as well.

Emma got into the idea of performing & I think ended up even adding an act or two to the show before the night was over. ;)

First up...Singing & Tapping to Jingle Bells-choreographed all on her own. :)
Then she "read" a Christmas Book
 The boys first act
 Oh the giggles....

And Christmas "Eve" gifts for the participants!

The next day we celebrated as our own "Christmas Eve."

 Ready for bed!

 "Christmas Morning"

Gingerbread House Contest

As always, we had so much fun & made great memories!

Christmas Eve

Northpark day with Honey

For the third year mom & I had our fun holiday tradition day with the kids.
This was Hudson's first year, so it made it even more special!
I love our fun tradition & can't wait for more in the future
{even thought we might have to find a new place & a new Santa, I know it will be just as fun!}.
