Hudson's 3rd Birthday

We had the BEST time celebrating Hudson's 3rd birthday! 

We decided on a Bike themed party...since this boy is all about anything with wheels & rides his bike around the house ALL. THE. TIME. 

{I guess that's one bonus of not loving the floors in your house...it allows for me not to worry about the kids riding their bikes & riding toys inside. ;)}

Anyone out there with bike loving little boys or girls...this was the most fun party! 

We had it in the parking lot of our church where there was plenty of space to ride around. We marked off a race track, had a "car wash" station, and a decoration station & the kids were completely entertained the whole time. It was a blast!

Emma's 5th Birthday Party

Emma's Birthday feel at a really crazy time of year. We were moving into the house on September 6th, and with her birthday only four days later...we knew it was going to be nuts. Not to mention the fact that since we had just moved, we didn't really have a list of friends to invite to a party! 

Since we knew moving day would be crazy...why not make it crazier!! Ha!

I had done all the prep work ahead of time to throw up a little surprise party for her that afternoon. Since all the grandparents were in town to help with the move, it was the perfect time.

 She had requested a Mermaid Party...so a Mermaid party it was! :)

 Bud & Honey took her up to their hotel for a little while, Happy helped me throw up the decorations, and David went to go pick up the cookie cake & a small list of things from the grocery store.

Her reaction was absoutly PRICELESS!

It brings tears to my eyes each time I see pictures or videos.

She was SO surprised & SO thrilled! 

Made the feelings of  how little or crazy it was all disappear! It was pure JOY.

Hudson's First Birthday Party {decor & food}

I love planning my babies birthday parties! It really is so fun for me, and I might get a little too into it

It helps that I know the girl over at Snowbird Design. ;)

We had his party at Nanny's land & it was the PERFECT spot! 

He was the PERFECT cake smasher! It really was just the most precious thing. I'm going to have to see if I can get the video on here, because it was just a priceless moment.
