11 Months

Our sweet girl is eleven months old today! Being this close to a year seems so unreal! Emma is doing & learning new things every day. She is so much fun, and has the sweetest, most laid back, easy-going personality.

Here's the best picture I got today...it just gets more & more difficult! Ha! She has started smiling for the camera more, but trying to get a smile & her sitting still & her holding the card the right way is just a little much without having someone else behind me to keep her attention!!

And for the records...here are a few of the things Miss Emma Grace is doing these days:

*You are wearing 12 or 18 month sized clothes.

*You're still in size 3 diapers.

*You eat food three meals a day, one afternoon snack, nursing 4 times a day, and drinking water from a sippy cup like a champ!

*You are eating pretty much all table food now. Although you will still sometimes eat a little bit of baby food. There hasn't really been anything you haven't liked. You are such a good eater!

*You have three teeth, all on the bottom.

*You are starting to loose some of your chubs & rolls. This makes mama a little sad!!

*You take two naps a day ranging anywhere from 45 minutes-2 hours. Normally they are around a hour & a half. 

*You are crawling everywhere! And getting pretty fast!!

*You are constantly pulling up on your knees, and have pulled yourself all the way to a standing position a few times.

*You LOVE music! You will sing and dance along almost anytime you hear it.

*You still love to be outside, although it's been so hot lately, we haven't had as much outside time as we would like. You love to watch the dogs & talk to them. Sometimes when mommy or daddy go outside without you, you will start crying!

*Whenever the train goes by our house {which happens about every 30 minutes!!} you will wave your arm & try to say "choo choo!"

*You like to clap your hands & play pat-a-cake.

*You are constantly pointing at stuff.

*You LOVE babies. Anytime we see a picture of a baby you will point at it, squeal & talk to it. I think you are trying to say baby...most of the time it sounds like "abba."

*You are very intrigued by other kids. You get so excited anytime we see other babies or kids!

*You will wave bye-bye & some times say it.

*Over the past few weeks you have started to become more & more of a daddy's girl. Sometimes if he leaves the room without you will cry. Although, you have those moments with mama, too! 

*You still love to read books, especially books with pictures of animals & babies.

*You have a new big girl car seat, and will get to face the front very soon!

*You are constantly on the move & we love to call your our little wiggle worm!

*You love going to bible class & always act so good in church!

Emma Grace-

We love you SO very much! It's amazing to us how we can love you more & more every day. You are such a joy & developing such a sweet little personality. We are so proud of you & feel so blessed to be your parents!
