the weather this week has been wonderful!
i think every year i become less of a fan of winter weather.
so i've been all about the nice 70 degree days this week.
yesterday morning, we met our sweet friends jamie & brylee at the dallas arboretum.
there is nothing like long time friends.
jamie was one of my college roommates & i love it when we get to see each other.
and it's such a plus to get to watch our sweet girls together!
emma was very excited to see brylee & i couldn't believe how big she is getting.
such a sweet girl!
she made me laugh covering her ears when she heard a saw.
jamie was smart & brought a few balls for the girls to play with.
that was a big hit!
we enjoyed a nice picnic.
emma was ecstatic to get to have a "nic-nic"
emma's favorite part is always the little log cabin village.

Oh what a fun way to spend a beautiful day! Two sweet little girls making memories!! Love the pictures!!! So many sweet ones. I love so much the story of how excited she got when she saw the nic-nic blanket!!
such fun & beautiful posts!!! I have a girl crush on Emma!!! I know from experience that she is fun-- & how much more so as the days pass! If Emmett's any indicator, you are smiling as much as I am these days!!! (though maybe not as tired!) I miss you two girls!!! & love you both very much!!
What a fun, fun day! We love picnics here, too! If the weather doesn't permit, sometimes we have picnics on the kitchen or bedroom floors! It's fun! Now the scenery isn't exactly as nice as the Dallas Arb., but hey, you can't have it all, right? ;) Glad yall had such a fun day. Love the pictures of Emma posing. Precious!!
