July 4th was the 1st anniversary of us moving to Katy! So hard to believe! We wanted to celebrate by finding something special to take part in here. One of those little ways of spreading our roots a bit. Our church was participating in the neighborhood parade, so we let the kids decorate their bikes & take part. I think 4th of July parades might be one of my favorite events of the year. I love the feeling of community it fosters, and it's so fun to watch all the cute patriotic little ones!

As hard as it was not to have ya'll here for the 4th, we loved seeing ya'll get involved in activities in your community and church! Love all the sweet pictures of those two getting ready and being in their parade!
