We had planned a fun week-long trip to Colorado to visit friends, family & play in the SNOW! We were so excited & looking forward to getting away as a family, and our first vacation as a family of four. Well, because of several factors, huge snowstorm, friends health, etc we had to cancel at the very last minute {like, our suitcases were all packed & ready to go...NOT fun to unpack when you don't ever even leave!}.
We decided to just go to Galveston for an overnight trip to at least cheer us up a bit.
We ate some yummy food, explored Moody Gardens & loved the rain forest portion...the other two parts were not anything to go on about, visited an airplane museum and the kids had a BLAST in the hotel. It had bunk beds which thrilled Emma to no end! ;)
