This week has been one of those not-so-glamorous weeks around the Snow house, but one worth documenting!
It
started last Friday when we left the doctors office with a diagnosis of
a sinus infection + bronchitis + croup and lots of meds to help sweet
Emma-girl feel better.
I have the most precious little girl, by the way!
Even though it was obvious she felt rotten, she was still the sweetest thing!
I
hosted a very fun & successful baby shower for a friend from
church here on Sunday. The weekend was quite interesting trying to nurse
a sick girl & get the house ready & disinfected.
I
could NOT have done it without my awesome husband!
It
rained most of the day on Tuesday, which was nice.
It kept raining
{fairly hard} ALL night.
On Wednesday morning we woke up to water coming
in our house. That was not so nice!! On one entire side of our house
{which is home to our closet, bathroom, hall bathroom, Emma's room
& closet} the standing water had gotten too high, and gotten
above the foundation/brick line & was seeping in. Not good!! So
at 6:30 we were hauling stuff to other parts of the house, pulling back
carpet, cutting out soaked carpet pad, setting up fans & being
thankful that it was not worse & that my family owns a flooring
store!!
{Shout out to Central Flooring in Abilene, for those of you in the market for new floors!!}
Needless
to say its somewhat of a mess around here. Thankfully it hasn't seemed
to bother Emma to be in a different room temporarily.
This
morning Emma woke up throwing up. Oh joy!
She hasn't tossed any more
cookies since about 1:00, but doesn't seem completely back to her norm
yet.
What a week!!
Makes me tired just thinking back on it and thankful that this is not the norm around here!

What a crazy week. I hope Emma is back to normal soon. Love and miss you!
They say when it rains it pours! :)
Seems as if that was true around your house for sure!
Can't wait to look through carpet samples with you and thanks for the shout out!! :)
We are counting the hours till you come see us!
We are having that kind of week this week..with RSV!
Poor Emma...that picture collage is just pitiful. Glad she is feeling better. It's just the worst when they aren't feeling good. Anyhow, I miss you friend. See you next time for sure, okay!?
